Flexible, Open Space
The venue’s open layout means photographers donāt have to work around visual obstructions, and couples donāt end up with awkward backgrounds in once-in-a-lifetime photos.
Back in 1915, this building was already a familiar part of life in Downtown Harrisonville. Known then as the Davis Brothers Garage, it served the community long before weddings and celebrations filled the space.
More than a century later, that same building still anchors the Historic Harrisonville Square and remains listed on the National Historic Registry.
When the space was renovated, its history wasnāt pushed aside, it was intentionally preserved. Original brick walls, industrial textures, and architectural details were kept and thoughtfully updated, allowing the character of the building to remain front and center.
The updated exterior signage was installed by Fossil Forge, a well-known local sign company responsible for many of the custom signs throughout Downtown Leeās Summit and the Kansas City area.
Iāve personally worked with their team on several projects over the years, and their craftsmanship speaks for itself. The new signage blends seamlessly with the buildingās historic character while giving it a fresh, polished presence on the Square.
